Dearest friends,
It's only a few days away from my departure to Spain and all I can think of is how I have such a nostalgia for the present. It's like I'm viewing my whole life in monopoly terms--and I'm just about to collect 200$. Or, 200 euros? As my father says, "I've got the world by the culiones!"...whatever that means.
I feel really grateful and frankly humbled before my journey. I'm oddly nervous about what people will think of me---
I haven't felt that way since my 8th grade semi-formal.
I guess you never really leave junior high.

ReplyDeleteI have not even started packing. And that list is from the info packet that they gave us on the CIEE website haha - not as organized as you think.

I meet you guys in Miami and we fly together for Madrid.
